Hi

My Focus wont start but the engine turns. Seems like fuel is not going through the filter. The filter seems a bit loose and I think there is an air lock somewhere.

Does anyone know how to go about getting rid of a potential air lock?

I can unclip the butterfly clip from the metal cap housing at the top but dont want to go further without knowing what I am doing.

I have got a local garage to take a look.

They replaced a split fuel line but have also said the injectors are also only dribbling out the fuel, not spraying it. It is now having to go to a specialist diesel place to go on a diagnostic computer to find out exactly what to change. Either way, I am looking at a bill of minimum, £500.

Not happy. Hope the same is not the case with yours!
