Hey all, hope someone here can help. I've got an 02 focus with a2.0 spi engine. About a year ago the o/d would go off and on while driving, and no I was'nt pushing the button. After taking it to a trans shop the manager said to try changing the filter and fluid. I did and it worked great,till now. Again while driving the car shifts in and out of overdrive. So I went ahead and changed the filter and fluid but it didn't work this time. Now the o/d stays off all the time. Once in a while it will shift into overdrive then a few seconds later back out. Could this be the a solenoid causing this or something different and very bad?

I got the same problem, so far I found the problem with MAF sensor, but I am going to replace the oil too.
