I have a 2000 Ford Focus and when i try so switch from 1 to 2 to 3 to the 4th setting they are all gone but #1. When i push the knob in it works if you push pressure on the knob. Any one every hear of this or have any fixes? Any other ?s ask and I will answer.
I had a similar problem which cut speeds 1, 2 and 3 plus the air conditioner. The A/C light would go on though. The problem after going through the fuse boxes and not finding anything was a resistor block. I never tried pushing the knob in so it may not be the same problem.
