confused Can ST170 pedals be fitted to a Zetec

Hi all,

Very long time since I posted, but I'm back! Im looking at getting a zetec middle of this yearand wondered if anyone can tell me if the metal pedals (clutch, brake, accelerator) from the ST170 can be fitted to a Zetec? I find the pedals in the Zetec to be far too small and the accelarator to be too high.

Also, for those who have it fitted, how much was the Herrod cat back exhaust all up inc. fitting?

Look forward to your answers! Go Focus!

yep will fit. A bloke called melbzetec had them on his car. They are expensive tho. I put some italian isotta one on my zetec. Cheaper than ST170.

Re: Can ST170 pedals be fitted to a Zetec

My isotta pedals were about $90. They are rubber and aluminium. The ST pedals were over $200, and had less rubber on them. If you look back over some old posts melbzetec writes in the exact price. The only thing (apart from the price) that bothers me about the ST pedals even though they are OE, is that the equivalent after market set may not be approved by the RTA or your insurer. Thats why I went for some pedals (ALU 009 is the model) that had heaps of rubber contact area, and match the gear knob.

Make sure you check out the eurofordclub.xom website regularly!! The club is getting massive.

Pedals are a pain, any ST parts are a ripoff on the other models, I never bothered. Looked at it, not worth the hassle.

You looking at a new model or the current model mid year?

Re: Can ST170 pedals be fitted to a Zetec

Thanks folks,

Really cant decide what to get. Looks like either a current model zetec or a Fiesta zetec. At the moment, the Fiesta is winning the battle for its even better handling, interior, engine and running costs

Big call i know!
