Don't know about the fords, but on my holden it tells me the ECT, volts,RPM,any DTC's, and some other stuff I can't remember. Digital speedo is only available via a TECH2, this then negates the speed alert function.

It gives you the speed in MPH or KPH digital tacho etc etc... just like the diagnostic mode on the E series falcons, doesnt do much as each time you turn the car off it turns off and have to do it again

you can have the BA speedo converted to digital by the service dealer, the call it police mode, i wonder if they have any police focus's

they do somewhere, but this is a function that can be done yourself, hold the trip reset in for 5 secs when turning the car on

shows exact digital revs, charge, mph, kmh and other weird stuff
it's pretty cool actually to have the revs there...

It resets after you turn ur car off. It was a novelty to start with, but then pretty useless after a while.

Pretty interesting, had a look at it yesterday when I was out, some of it was like "What the.." but other things I wish we always had, like digital fuel quantity.

As Resty said, novelty to start with.
