EGR sensor replacement help

So, I'm trying to replace the EGR pressure sensor on my 2001 Ford Focus. I don't know if its a SOHC or DOHC (in fact, if you can tell me how to figure that out I would appreciate it). I was trying to replace the old sensor with a new one (a Duralast from Autozone), but the case of the electrical plug doesn't match up with the place to connect it to the sensor. Everywhere I looked has the same configuration for the plug. Has anybody changed their sensor on their own? Did you have this problem? Is there a website or book that can tell me how to do this? Thanks so much!
