I have a ford focus wagon 2000. This is an intermittent problem. It seems when it is cooler at times the car won't start. The starter won't turn over at all. the radio will play, heater comes on etc. so you know the battery is good but will not turn over. ( just seems like there is not juice getting anywhere)

I have moved the gear shift (automatic), moved the ignition switch with the key etc. All of a sudden it will then start. Doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason as to which if any of these tricks work. Sometimes will start in 30 seconds, other times will take 30 minutes of monkeying around. (starter seems to be just fine)

had it in to the shop but of course it doesn't do it then. Anyone else had this problem? what was it? any ideas as to what this could be?
