I have just got a 04 plate Focus Ghia 5dr and it is supposed to have got alarm but doesn't appear to work. Has sensors fitted. I have checked all fuses and looked in the book and it does not say what fuse it is.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem/common problems coulb be.

An actual factory alarm or just the PATS system?

It's factory fitted

I am not familiar with the Ghia myself since I am in the US, but most Fords here have just the PATS anti-theft which does not actually sound alarms, but disables the ignition on a theft attempt.
