If anybody in South Australia heres of some Zetec rims for sale....let me know as yesterday night my zetec was broken into. The wannabe gone in 60secs pricks broke my window, stole everything inside the car, (including my drivers manual!), and then proceeded to rip off my zetec rims....leaving my car smashed up, empty and sitting on bricks! all up over $2000 worth of damage and lost goods. so now my cars off the road getting fixed (again) and im without my car for a week or two. so if anyone heres of my rims for sale..please let me know so i can notify the authorities...in this case....my cricket bat.
Tims kindly offered to host and post a few pics of my poor baby. I hope none off you guys ever have to go through the pain of waking up to find your car like this...........

Sucks to hear mate, I'll keep an eye out on ebay. I hate the feeling of being violated, especially at your own home.

Hope they get replaced with something even better mate, if I lived close I'd have a set of 15s you could use until you get replacements.

That's shocking. I feel really bad for you. Your luck should turn soon I hope.

I thought the rims had special nuts so they couldn't be nicked easily, but then again, I keep mine in the glove box, and they clearly had access to that.

I'll keep and eye out up here too.

I know at least the ST's have locknuts on them, not sure about the rest of the range though

While I didn't buy my 17's thru Ford, Resty - who I purchased them from - sent me the locking nuts as well as the std ones, that as far as I know, he got with the wheels.

As brother said, the locking key is kept with the vehicle so a break and enter would grant access to that.

Yeah my key isnt in the glovebox or anything anymore, its in a much more secure place

That happened to a friend of mine in Melbourne not too long ago as well.
Went to go to work and found his VS on bricks in his driveway.
They took his amp as well, and only a few days after replacing it someone broke the lock on his boot to try to get the new one.
Sucks that you can't have anything nice without some prick wanted to damage it or steal it.
