Focus Ghia TD - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hello all,thinking about getting a Focus Ghia TD (1999 V reg) but I understand it's the same engine that I've got in my Mondeo,is that right???
Only ask coz I find the Mondeo to be as rough as a bag of nails sometimes and don't fancy buying a car with the exact same engine.

BTW - does the Focus Ghia TD come with ABS????

Hi there.

I'm not too sure but I think the Focus may have the same motor as what's in the Mondeo.

BTW what year is your Mondeo?

It's 1999 also,but I've just been to look at a 2001 Mondeo Zetec 2.0.....very nice...

I'm probably with you on this one, I'd take the Focus if it had the new 2.0 TD motor. However in this case with choosing between the 1999 TD Focus and the 2001 Mondeo I'd be leaning towards the Mondeo 2.0 - though only if it is a manual.

Yeah it's a manual,can't be bothered with automatics myself,goes a treat aswell......
