Currently have a Fiesta but in the market for a bigger car that has a bit more space (not to mention a bit more grunt). Budget is around £20k. I've been thinking about getting the 2.0 Focus TDCi Zetec S... but part of me thinks that it's too similar to the Fiesta we've already got (just bigger).

I've been thinking about getting a Kuga instead. We've got family living in a remote part of the North East UK so it would make visiting at Christmas a bit easier. We're planning a family too and it would probably make a better family car than the Focus. A friend has got a Kuga and I do like it... only problem is that it's slightly more than I wanted to spend.

Anyone got any thoughts? Thanks for any help!

Both excellent cars . Think you might be better going the extra mile and getting the Kuga from what your needs are just now and in the future from what you say . Wont go wrong with either car .All the best .
