Its a 4Door CL by the looks of it, with a cargo barrier behind the front seats didtn see in teh back to see if there were seats as this thing had extremely dark tint.
Underneath the focus badge on the tail gate were the words panelvan in a light blue colour, as well as the same panelvan words on the front passenger and driver wings
Interesting, panelvans are usually like the ole X series ones, not a 4 door focus hehe .. almost as good as the Cielo one from Daewoo
Dealers are known to badge anything they think will sell it or target it to a particular market. The term XR4 has been applied to sooo many different types of four bangers, from Mondeos to Lasers, Festivas, Capri.
I was expecting a photoshop when I opened this thread

I owned an old Festiva Panelvan, usually done by dealers like City Ford who have the might and size to make it viable, selling to businesses. They take out the parcel shelf, rear seats and cushions and lay a hard floor usually of ply or something like that, the install a cage behine the seats. My first car, a 98 3 door Festiva was like that and I just got the seats installed, that's how I bought the car cheap from Dad's work as an ex panelvan, registered it cheap for 12 months and then after the next year I registered it as a 5 seater again. Worked well and man it was like having a little ute, seriously fun!!!!!!!
