i have a ford focus 2003 zx5 and the starter remote control stop working the light comes on when i press the remote but nothing happens! any ideas! thanks.

Check to make sure the sensor that receives the signal is positioned right, it should be right under or behind the mirror, but it has also been know to be put on the dash.

Does it start normally by key?

First thing I would check would be the batteries in your Ford remote starter , may be just enough to power light but not enough left to activate starter .

I would think he would be smart enough to figure that out R.S. considering locking and unlocking it would also be affected.
