Focus Rs Needs New Engine

i Am Lucky Enough To Own A Focus Rs
but Its Been In The Ford Dealership Awaiting A New Engine, Because Mine Had Suffered Melted Pistons And Damaged Head, It Has Now Been, Three Months In The Ford Dealership And After All This Time I Am Told That Ford No Longer Make The Focus Rs Engine, This Is A £21k Car And They Are Telling Me That A Car That Is Just 5 Years Old, No Longer Has Spares Made For It.
i Find This Is Totally Unaceptable.
and I Am Now Waiting For Ford Uk To Find A Solution.
my Next Car Will Not Be A Ford.
really Really Hacked Off Rs Focus Owner.

Re: Focus Rs Needs New Engine

In North America the earlier Focus' the engines were widely produced making parts easily accessible. Check on Ebay and ask around with the sellers that have crate engines if they can keep an eye out for you. Never trust a dealer. Generally they'll find you the most expensive replacement engine available, not turn you away! If all else fails contact Ford directly and find out what's going on. Good luck!
