Does anyone here do any basic self service / maintenance on their Focus like:

oil changes at any pre-determined interval
lead changes
spark plug change and or gap calibration
brake pads and system bleed
radiator flush
(could be a few other things here people might do)

or do we all take out little cars back to Ford / Mechanic....

Ford does all mine but I change engine oil myself once between each 15.000km service so my oil is lasting 7,500km between changes. Gets driven hard, makes sense!!! Oh and I wash it too on a weekly basis...

Ford does all my Focus work and it'll stay in warranty for it's 7 years or whatever.

I take care of my tires though and rotate / put air in them myself as required.

Oh, and a quick edit: I think 15 thou between oil is too long but while it's under warranty I don't really care, not planning on having it longer than 7 years anyway.

nup i leave it to others to do

going to somewhere else bar ford for my 15k service though..... cbf doing any of it myself whilst its in warranty let them deal with it all
