Focus Zetec R - first Photos

Managed to get out and take some shots in daylight of the ZetecR.

By the way, does anyone else have a Focus with two reversing lights and no rear fog light??

You may or may not have read the FAQ Page on the eurofordclub website, which answers this question!

A3. Any Focus factory optioned with a bodykit will have two white reverse lights fitted, with no rear fog light, presumably as Ford considers the bodykit to restrict the range of view one reverse light provides. All other Foci should have both a reverse light and a fog light standard. All ST170 Foci come with the bodykit fitted.
The car looks great, very nice rims!

Feel free to join the eurofordclub if you so desire, also! More than welcome.

If you have no idea about us, check out the site - www.eurofordclub.com

Great pictures, thanks for showing us! Are the clear side indicators standard with the Zetec R or did you do that yourself?

Regards, Tim!

Re: Focus Zetec R - first Photos

Thanks for the answer about the bodykit being the reason for the two reversing lights....Though it would have been good if the light switch on the dash did not have the rear fog position (you know the second pull out, the first being for the fronts). But I guess that would be to hard to change post factory.

The side lenses are the ST170 parts, so far the only 'mod' on the vehicle.

Also, it appears now the instrument panel dimmer switch was deleted at some stage during 04 production.

And yes it is dirty, however I am getting the paint protection put on during the week, so they can clean it then :)

Re: Focus Zetec R - first Photos

It is pointless to change the spot light switch just for a few cars really

Even the ST's have 2 reverse lights and the same switch

Looks nice tho

Re: Focus Zetec R - first Photos

Nice looking Focus, I like that rear wing, looks pretty sweet.

If I had a kit done though I think I would request that the fog light be left in place instead of replacing it with another reversing light.

Re: Focus Zetec R - first Photos

You don't get the choice with the lights on the kit, how it comes to the dealership from the yard where they kit the bodykit at Autocare in Australia.
