Ford Focus 1.8 tddi 2004
I recently bought my Ford Focus 1.8 tddi 2004 and there is somthing I feel uncumfortable with. I was told by the salesperson in the agency that once I turn on the engine, I should wait 40 seconds prior to accelerate or start driving. The same thing when I stop. Prior to turn it off, I have to wait the same time. Supoosedly, this is so because of the turbo intercooler. I find this very annoying and uncomfortable to be doing. Can someone give me a better picture on how I´m suppose to do or what I should consider after turning on the engine and prior to turn it off? Thanks a lot, Fernando. (jfvalenzuela@gmail.com)
