hi i have a v reg ford focus climate control 1.4
I had the air con on then turned the blower off and when i turned the blower on againg about 1/2 hour later the blower does not work.
I know where the fuse box is but not sure what to look for, can anyone please help

No it doesn't I have checked the fuse box under the bonnet and they are all ok, is there another fuse box inside the car, when I turned the switch on before it went, it felt stiff when i turned it an then didnt work, would it be the swith gone or the blower itself and how much would they cost.

I have checked all the fuses in and out of the car all working, I have asked a family friend mechanic to have a look at it but he spent an hour on it but couldnt get the dash off to get to the switch (he didnt want to break the dash),
how would you get to the heater switch or test the resistor
how much would fords charge to get this done?
i really need this done as the bad weather is a coming and need some heat

this is for anyone that has this problem

to get the blower switch out
turn off the engine and remove the key
remove the radio/cd player
unscrew the 4 screws
gently pull the facia towards you, this will only be about 4 inches
feel below the blower switch behind were all the wires are and there should be a small screw- unscrew this keeping hold of the screw

twist the rear of the switch and it should now become free from the facia
remove the wire harness at the rear of the switch and wa hoo its now free

this part cost me £15.15 inclusive of vat
it took me about 15 minutes in all to remove and replace and the blower now works

so i hope this helps others
