I can just imagine Colin McRae hangin that little bugger sideways in a couple of years! I hope Australia get a piece of that. So my advice to Geoff and Dave, get in early while ya can coz I gurantee you not one person on this forum wouldn't like to see a rally breed turbocharged beast in australia taking the limelight off those WRX's and soon to arrive in australia, Lancer GSR's.

That is a great looking car. Pininfarina always design amazing looking cars. Hopefully it becomes reality and Ford Oz put their hand up for it now and not three years after it has been released.

Speaking of an S2000, I had a ride in one on the weekend, boy can that thing can rev! That would have to be the sweetest sounding 4cyl in the world. The gearbox was especially good.

I know i'm going off topic a bit now but I had quick look at the sister forums for S2000. If you though fordforums was busy, you should see how many posts in here.

This might be of interest to LS1 owners:

They are comparing and s2000 to HSV R8.

You thought our October trip was impressive, a group of these guys organised a tour of the Japan s2000 factory:

I noticed s2000 forum uses the same software as ours and it has a chat function built into it.
