Grounded?
Hey everyone,
I need some help with my '01 ZX3. Here's what happened. I recently had my starter replaced (about 10 days ago) and the car was running fine until the other day. I was running some errands and I noticed every time I tried starting, the engine wasn't firing very well. Finally I stopped at a friend's house for a few hours and when I came back out, nothing started. Called a tow truck and they tried to jump the battery. The car started up but when I went to take out the cable the terminals were glowing orange and the wires were melting. We shut everything off right away. The guy from the tow truck company said it looked like something was grounded, but whatever it is, it's an electrical problem. Any ideas on what exactly is the problem? Thanks in advance.
