Guages

Hi everyone,

I'm new here. My speedometer, gas and temperature guages aren't working. I have tried the fuses but nothing still. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Guages

Hello and welcome to FordForums!

Could you please post what model year the Focus is? If it is a 99-2004 it may need a new instrument cluster and will need programmed at the dealer. I have changed about 5 in the last 4 years as a Ford tech.

Re: Guages

Check all these fuses.................

Battery junction box (BJB) fuse(s):
7 (40A).
8 (30A).
Central junction box (CJB) fuse(s):
36 (7.5A).
41 (7.5A).
61 (7.5A).

If these are all good, you have a wiring issue or a bad cluster.

Re: Guages

I'm going to check the fuses. Is there a test that can be done to check if the cluster is bad? Can any car repair shop test it?

Re: Guages

I changed the fuses with no luck. Are there any relay sensors I can check before taking it to the dealer?

Re: Guages

I took it to the dealer. They put a new cluster in. They called me and said it's still not working. So who knows what the problem is.
