I have just brought a focus 2001 with the old tape radio. i want to change this to a cd player and have an old one an know i can do this through getting the wires etc but would rather have the correct stereo instead of putting in fascias etc.

How can i find out which stereo will work with my car? i can find loads of different stereos with say ford mondeo or transit but nothing that says for a focus? would a ford cd 6000 work?

Go into any local ICE shop for advice on replacing set .

i replaced my stereo in my 06' focus because i wanted a better cd player with mp3/aux/ipod features and it was so easy. you can buy any stereo you want. then you just need to get the proper wiring harness and deck kit. they arent expensive at all and the salesman can look up the exact one for your focus. took me no time at all to put into the focus.
