I drive a 2003 Ford Focus LX with about 90k miles. I need your help or advice for my issue.

My cars engine light is on and the issue is my car seems to have a problem accelerating from 0mph to 30mph its fine after that but then the car does the same thing from 40 mph to 60 mph. The car seems to be having trouble finding gears but runs good after it reaches a steady cruising speed. I'm thinking it could be timing, transmission, or maybe computer.

Your help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Spend the 60 bucks and get it analyzed at the Ford dealer. Tell them you just want to know what the codes are. Should be more than helpful to you.

Then post the codes from the Check Engine Light here.

Or if you have a Autozone near you they will plug in and give you the codes for free. You could also try other parts stores I just know Autozone does it for free.
