today i was gettint readt to go to work and go in my car and try to start the car the key went in but would not move it was stcuk and would not turn so i took the key out and then tried again to see if it would work but it just would not move.Does anyone know what i can do so the key will turn.

no is there a chip inside the key?

Yes all Focus models should have a chip in the key. Go on, give us a clue- how old is the vehicle.

Perhaps the steering has locked with a bit of pressure against the lock system. You could try turning the steering a little each way while trying to unlock it.
Also is there a chnce you could have the wrong keys.

Very common problem with the Focus. If you get it to come on again, consider yourself lucky and DO NOT TURN IT OFF(all the way) UNTILL YOU PULL THE IGNITION CYLINDER!!! Then replace. You could try some WD40 in the cylinder and move the key quickly in and out several times.If you get it to turn, get it replaced by a locksmith asap and don't turn it all the way off.
