Had a little race with a Audi A4 during the week. Little as in 3 blocks. Had him on toast before I had to break to hang a left. First time had the car up over 5k on tacko and she pulled strong.
Not too suprising considering the standard A4 only has a 1.8L engine, I think earlier ones even had smaller engines, on a car that weighs a fair bit more.
And guym has a 3 door Blue Flame Focus, his club page is HERE
Don't mind Audi's...

How much boost?
I must admit I do like the audi's myself. Considered buying an A3 until I saw the price, so I got the zetec instead. Had a look at the specs of the A4 to the zetec. Same power, but yes the A4 has an extra 100 kg.
Currnet Mods - Custom 2 1/4" Cat-Back Exhaust System, ST170 Clear Side Indicators, King Spring Super Lows, Air Delector, Fully Sik P Plates and FPR Stickers, Ford Seat Covers.
Doing an A4 ain't a fair effort. A Zetec will walk most cars with it's own or smaller engine as long as
a) it doesn't have VTEC
b) It isn't a 1.8 141kw Toyota engine (unless it's in a Hairdresser Celica)
c) naturally excluding the premium Astra Turbo/ST170 brigade etc
OK so I should probably add a million clauses there... fact is the Zetec will walk an AU Falcon, most of the 3.8 litre Commodores and most other larger cars that should outgun it. That's how you really surprise the wanker P-Plater and his mate in Daddy's Berlina... not that my life is defined by that, but when a persistent annoying kinda driver in something like a Jeep 4.0 litre 6 cylinder keeps thinking his 29 inch high penis enlargement vehicle is cool and he can sit on your tail then drag you and show you he's good.... and all you need to do is waste him within 2 gears to be a car length ahead and gaining ground... that's when they shut up pretty quickly.
Haha, reminds me when I was at an intersection sitting behind a tricked out ricer style 180SX with stickers all over it, and he gunned it at the traffic light doing a right turn to impress his friend. I stuck to his tail like glue and he got a little annoyed, and gunned it a little more, and spun out his car in the middle of the turn. haaahahaha. There was a tyre shop right on that road, and he drove his car straight in after the spin. :D
That said, if you want to play with the Civic VTECs (150+ bhp) with a 1.8l zetec, it's still possible with modding. You could do induction, headers, chip, cams, underdrive pulleys, and verniers. That'll get you to 150 bhp with proper tuning. Not sure which car is better in the handling stakes though ... maybe you'd have to mod the suspension considering the 1.8 does not have a sports tuned suspension like the zetecs or ST.
141 kw is totally out of reach I'm afraid. Not even the ST170 has that kind of power.

yeah but the Sportivo is a crap heap simply because it can't handle. I'd take a 96kw Zetec over a 141kw Sportivo, honest 100% truth. The extra grand they pay for the Sportivo or thereabouts I'd sink into a zorst, intake and filter and you'd not only outhandle the sportivo but give it a hard time in a straight line enough to keep up until the corners.
