Hi,
I have brake fluid leaking on to my clutch pedal and from reading previous threads im guessing its a problem with the master cylinder.
Im going to a few local mechanics today to get some prices, just wondered what to expect to pay for this as I dont want to get ripped.
My partners has been telling me that the clutch is riding high and thinks it may be on its way out, is this related to the master cylinder or different.
Im guessing I will need to replace the master cylinder asap and the clutch pretty soon?

I have a 51 plate focus 1.6 zetec

it will be the clutch master cylinder they are around £80 for the part and at a ford place expect something around £165 fitted . however there is a firm on ebay that sells transit parts and a lot of focus's share the same part as the transit connect they are call transitparts if you ring them and give your reg they will tell you if its the same cost from them around £46 deivered (luk part same as ford use) then maybe a local place would fit it making it cheaper
