confused My car won't freaking start! This is a good one...

Ok, my husband put on new brakes and a new thermostat houseing. The car wouldn't start. So he went and got a new battery. It started once but wouldn't come out of park, and the brake pedal went all of the way down to the floor. Now it won't even start. Oh, and the airbag light came on. Does anyone have any ideas???

I forgot to mention that when he did all of that, he also changed the oil.

OK, the brakes should pump up if done properly and will take several pumps to the floor before they catch pressure.

Not coming out of park is a sign of a bad interlock switch located in the shifter assy. I think you must replace the entire shifter.

No start? Check the basics like spark and fuel first. Did he unplug a sensor when doing the housing?

Sounds too much of a coincidence not to have anything to do with the brake-pedal position switch causing the auto box problem, I'd check this first, it's on the pedal housing and may have become dislodged.
