Ok, my husband put on new brakes and a new thermostat houseing. The car wouldn't start. So he went and got a new battery. It started once but wouldn't come out of park, and the brake pedal went all of the way down to the floor. Now it won't even start. Oh, and the airbag light came on. Does anyone have any ideas???

OK, the brakes should pump up if done properly and will take several pumps to the floor before they catch pressure.

Not coming out of park is a sign of a bad interlock switch located in the shifter assy. I think you must replace the entire shifter.

No start? Check the basics like spark and fuel first. Did he unplug a sensor when doing the housing?
