I just purchased new springs for my 03 focus ZTS. Eibach lowering springs 1.4 in front, 1.5 in the back. Next step is wheels and tires. Anyone know what size rims I can cram under there? I was thinking 18's but I dont know if I have the room.

You could get 19s under there np. I have 18s and i still think that they could be bigger!

In hindsight, I wouldn't go for anything smaller than 18 inch rims. I have 17's and wish they were larger. Marcus's Focus runs 19 inch rims, 18 inches is hassle free.

im happy with my 17's. when i think about getting anything bigger i just think of the tyre cost :(

though i would loe some 19's or go the 20's under there !

Maximum you'd comfortably fit is 19's

I reckon I would go to a 17inch rim max only becasue of the prohibitive tyre cost :(

Russ' 18's do look pretty nice under those arches, if I was made of money and didnt have a wife that belted me whenever I spent money on my cars I would have considered 18's or 19's

Well now that my Fiancee and I are separated, unfortunately, since Saturday night, I think I no longer have to worry about getting smacked for modding my Zetec. Methinks it will get even more modded now... Hayley and I decided that we weren't totally meant for each other and it's pretty sad, I feel like crap, but getting the mouldings on my doors and bumper will mean I'll have a new girl in my life to look after and it'll be one of the most unique mods here, the only other car I know with that is Marcus' ZFOCUS. Not a common mod and one that should make it stand out a little next to any other Focus!!!. Can't wait. At least there's something to make me feel good about!!

sorry to hear about you and your missus zetec... but yep at least you can spend more money on your car now

I know if i didnt have a missus or was going OS next year i would have a fair bit done to my car by now :(

yep, the missus is a car expenditure restricter, bit like having a pea shooter exhaust on your car.

sorry to hear about your news zetec, I am sure your focus wll appreciate the extra attention she will receive though....last time I got dumped my old ute got a full detail, new tyres and rims, new suspension (springs and shocks), re-tint, ...man did I spend that much..****....
