Locking cap was an option on the GXL. I noted that "all BUT the base model requires
premium unleaded". I dont want to have to get used to something, I want it to be like every other car I've owned. I mentioned to my brake mechanic that I was considering buying a Focus. He said " parts are really expensive, we see them with 30,000Km requiring $800 worth of work to the brakes" This has been verified by several members of this forum. The materials are not good enough for Australian conditions. The ones on the St170 are probably OK. But Who wants to pay $37,000 for a 3 door Focus ,lol.Think I will buy an SP23 Mazda. Only performance four that runs on regular unleaded.
