Yes.
As for details, I'm still waiting but as rumors go, the RS might be included in the model lineup but only in front wheel drive (yes it is the turbo priced at around $46k)
I think I saw an article about it in wheels or Motor or hot 4's?

No AWD Focus to date, but front wheel drive didn't stop the RS from kicking Subaru (and many more) ass around the Top Gear test track.
yeah saw that video as well, front wheel drive turbos not to bad any way, no where as good as awd but can't do much about that.
Me wants an RS!!!

Considering the Subaru WRX is a piece of *&#$ in terms of handling... not hard to make a Focus outhandle it using only half the number of wheels... any idiot can build a car with awd that goes hard in a straight line, has harder springs, big rims and a blow off valve... Subaru can.
The RS was only ever FWD, around 4500 were built of which I know about 2500 went to the UK and exactly 1 went to Turkey (don't ask). The current platform so I've heard wasn't engineered for AWD and thus the range was only ever limited to FWD. Production has just stopped on the LR Focus RS (you should know that LR is the model code). Just picture this, an RS which did 0-100 in 6.3 seconds and killed a Wrexie around the track, then imagine how much better the RS will be in next model guise!!!
Not only that, but imagine how good the possible AWD Focus would have to be!! It'll most likely be called the Cosworth, all hot Euro Fords have that tradition and the engineers at Ford didn't call the RS a Cosworth simply because they didn't want to do a half arse job of it. If the RS is therefore not good enough and is still the best handling front driver ever built (or almost, according to Top Gear) then I'm damn excited to see exactly what the Cosworth will be like!!!! Methinks the days of WRX domination are GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE. I have heard the St will finally have some balls (light turbo possibility) with the RS being more of a track car, then the Cosworth AWD turbo being the absolute bahnstorming beast that the Focus range and Ford deserves.
And projekt, about that pooing at work, i laughed so hard I almost pooed myself at home!!!!! That's a cracker!!!!!!
As for the ST range, Ford wants to adopt it as a full-time GTi equivalent, SRi for Holden/Opel and the old Craptivo range for Toyota... "Sports Technologies" in case you didn't know what it was for. Fiesta ST is already previewed, Focus ST170 exists and Mondeo ST220 also are goign hard in the UK. Basically Ford will be cutting down simply to ST so it remains more recognisable, less confusing and becomes the known sporting version of warmed up Euro Fords. Rs seems only to be a Focus thing, and Cosworth will be Focus, possibly Fiesta and probably not on Mondeo, simply because it is too large a car to get away with the old AWD illegally hot hatch reputation that the Sierras and Escorts have. Have a cruise of the Fiesta forum here to check out the Fiesta ST, RS and other concepts... yummy.
