Hey guys... I was wondering if anyone had old stock stuff that they had modded and would like to 'off-load' the stock stuff to me for a reasonable price!
I am really after a set of zetec front seats + leather steering wheel...But any stuff you got i would be willing to think about! So chuck some ideas my way!
And dont forget 'ANOTHER MAN TRASH IS ANOTHER MAN MOD!!!'
Thanks folks!

The zetecs steering wheel has an airbag, so if your CL doesn't have the safety pack, it might not be worth it. The zetec sets are pretty good, although a bit lacking in the lumbar support area. Don't know much about the ST170s except the leather bolsters. What about the luxury ghia stuff? has anyone ever seen a ghia focus?
Ghia seats are velour and a different colour to the rest of the range so they'd be a bad match. The only good thing would be the power height adjustment but not worth looking GHEY just for a power switch!!!
CL Steering wheel has an airbag standard, the safety pack is actually ABS and a 2nd airbag. I'd seriously doubt there's a chance of finding a spare leather wheel anywhere because nobody even in an ST170 would want anything else that wasn't compatible with their airbag... so best bet is trying Doyle's automotive interiors in Auburn, they'll wrap ur wheel in whatever leather you choose for not too much money, I highly recommend them.
The only Zetec seats I know of are those taken out of the Sony Xplod cars and I have no idea where they are now...
But I have a stock Zetec exhaust... not that it's any different to the CL one so it's useless to you!! There might be some Zetec rims around the joint and possibly a sapare bodykit or two but keep a look out!!! Welcome to the forums mate!!
Matt, he might want your stock chrome tip. Looks a lot better than the plain metal that eventually gets coated in crap......... but oh no ....... last thing we want is a CL looking like a zetec haha.
Seriously though, all we want to do is make our cars look nicer, so I think it would be a nice little addition to the CL, but it is maybe not worth it if you are thinking of changing the exhaust down the track anyay. Is it just a straight swap of tips, or does the whole back box need changing?
I didn't mention the tip because it's actually welded on from memory. He's best off getting a new zorst eventually but if I have time I'll check out my old zorst in the garage this weekend to see what can be arranged!!

I have - and crikey at the interior. Massive two tone cream and brown - not my first choice at all. My front seats are getting ditched for a nice set of Recaros soon - all the Foci range seats are just too high, and the lack of height adjustment (from very high to just high) on the passenger seat is crazy, means your girlfriend feels like she is sitting a couple inches higher than you (coz she is, basically!). One point I don't like about the Focus in general. I do like the Ghia's cruise control though. A must have item I plan to get fitted too.

Rofl.... correct. I am out to make mine as unique as possible - if I wanted a 16 inch wheels and a chrome tip the size of my little finger I would have bought a Zetec in the first place! And as Matt said also, much better off just getting a tip welded on for 50 bucks (including the cost of the tip) anyway.
I don't think you will ever find a Zetec steering wheel unless a car is being wrecked as it is illegal to change the wheels to a non-airbag wheel - and therefore most won't. It's a well balanced steering wheel as it is.
Doyles in Sydney did the leather in our BA XR6 and as he said, I highly recommend them. Wouldn't cost you much to get it wrapped if that's what you like.

Ahh, if only money weren't an issue. I thought about that a while ago but recall they were pretty expensive.... what are you looking at? Me being well over 6ft means I notice their height too. I couldn't believe how high the passenger seat was until I sat in it when my girlfriend was driving me back from the pub

hey, they aren't that bad.... well maybe they could be bigger
I kinda like the seat position. I am not especially short, about five ten, and I cant see the bonnet, All I can see is the road infront of me and the small furry animals that are about to run under the goodyears.
