I have, and am! only shame is that its an auto but even then it goes pretty hard.....the body roll is huge too, way more than the Zetec.

I am not going to wash this thing, worry about my dirty feet, care if the dogs put their noses on the windows, parking too close to other cars in car parks........

ALTHOUGH, I should thank FORD Australia (Jared) for their help in getting me the hire car when the Dealer had no courtesy cars available as I hadnt booked in for the job.....

That's pretty good of them. But they are a hoot those Rollas... rollas in more than on way too, quite an appropriate name even for the Sportivos!! Just doesn't suit my driving style, I'm a corners man, even at the expense of straight line speed. No PIG understeer for me thanks.

Re: It only took 4,000km

UPDATE 2: Called up today to find out what was going on, advised "gear box is out, you wont be getting it back today" asked "do you know what the problem was?" answer "um, no we are still looking at that"....

Doesn't look like I will be getting my Focus back soon, and the hire car has to go back Thursday morning :(

Hope I dont get stuffed around for a long time by the dealer.....if it gets protracted I am in the right frame to blow a fuse .

Re: It only took 4,000km

UPDATE 3: Ford now know what has occurred, apparently the clutch plate has broken, with a piece coming straight off it (something about the rivets coming off and a piece breaking off the plate)...so the Zetec should be available tomorrow....

And you know what, at the 3,000km service I told them about the clutch's tendency to make a slight rattling noise at idle when in nuetral.......
