Re: poor consumption

Hi,

Did you find the solution to your problem? I have a 1.4 focus petrol, mpg is even worse than yours - 20mpg.

Please write.
Andreja.

Re: poor consumption

Tune up is key to good fuel economy. Clean air filter!!! New plugs and wires (if equipped) will also help, even if you notice no lack of performance. A bad plug can make the car run rich, burning more fuel than necessary. Fuel filter may also need to be replaced if it hasn't been already and mileage is over 30 000.
