i changed the alternator for a new one of my focus (2001 focus zts zetec 2.0L),but when i check the dash a light goes on its a red battery on the dash, i check if the alternator and works show 14 volt in the tester, the battery it's new and the alternator it's new too what happen the problem starts when i changed the alternator how i shut down the light or it's a big problem??
help me please

Wow - so this started in November - is it resolved? if not are you a) recharging you battery every night or b) just living with an annoying light?
