I may be buying a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS with the 2.0 DOHC engine and 75K. I have read that Focus' have a lot of little problems like the doors, since they have recalls, and that they go through tires like crazy. Brakes too sometimes. This is what I have read and I need to know if it is worth getting at this point. I likely would be paying about $8,000 out the door (including, tax/title/license) Also the car is automatic, and is almost fully loaded. Power locks/windows, keyless entry, sunroof, etc.... you get the idea. Any feedback helps.

I would never suggest a Focus to anyone unless it is the 2005 and up models. These cars are not very reliable and you will not be happy with it.

$8000 is alot of money for an 02 model!
