all foci have rear fog lights from memory, it's when you add the optional Ford body kit that the fog light (on the right) is deleted and turned into a second reversing light, which in my humble opinion should be the case from the beginning as it's hard to see the single stock reverser and personally I'll never use the rear foggie anyway...
Hmmm I smell a mod coming on... anybody know how to do it and what it costs?
I noticed that very thing, Zetec - about the bodykit having two reverse lights.
However, sniper is also correct. The sedan Focus does not have rear fog lights in the bar, like the hatch. Meanwhile, all hatch models, excluding those with bodykits, get a rear fog light and a reverse light.
Cheers.......... Tim

How much boost?
as i was told by my dealer when i asked the question...the bodykit apparently cuts into the space and therefore a fog light cannot fit in its usual spot so they cut it and put in another reverse light (i am also one that prefers the 2 reverse instead of fog....more practical). now why the fog light should take up anymore room than a reverse light i have no idea....thats just the story i was fed. it had me fooled at first because although there is no fog light....the switch inside the cabin is still there...so we with bodykits have a switch that does nothing...

If trees could scream...would we be so cavalier in cutting them down?
.....maybe.....if they screamed all the time for no good reason.
Er, I disagree with that, sort of. I chose not to opt for either the bodykit or the optional wheels as I would have been paying for something I was going to remove and replace with something different and more unique later.
Maybe a majority of cases, yes, but not all.
Cheers........ Tim
re-phrased after re-reading, it sounded as though I didn't like the original kit and wheels, which I do!

ok, i'll rephrase....most people would rather two reverse lights over one of each...and most (not including those intending extensive mods including aftermarket kits) prefer the bodykited body to the non kitted. of course there are always going to be exceptions...which is why we end up with so many different and yet still great looking cars around.

Let's just say Kymera4 that had I another $3k at purchase I would have optioned a nice 3 door machine silver baby with kit and rims, all i got was the VDC which to me was a great option, i love it. If I had been able to wait another 6 months (didn't want to!!!!) I could have searched for a demo fully optioned and some of the deals I'm seeing in dealerships right now make me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But still, I was original and I LOVE my 16"s, the car just needs to be lowered, tinted and have the side moulding painted and it will look absolutley awesomely understated yet classy IMO. I will however get the reversing light I think, never use the foggie... check out my thread on the focus club for more info on the amazing discounts we'll be getting on parts as a club (cost price plus 5%)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Unbelievable. By then I'll buy stuff for my car like there's no tomorrow :D
