Just got my focus and there is a ringing sound on the right side of the engine. sounds like theres something loose or something. it however comes on then goes away. the clinging sound worries me as i have no clue what it is. any help?

Could possibly be alternator , best to get checked out .

thanks i actualy took it in to ford today and i await their response. I will tell you what they say. i also wanted to know is it normal for the car to leak water from the bottom (just behind the engine from some thin pipes) when the AC is on? this is primarily when the car stops. Hope this is not a stupid question

Air con usually has a drain where you get drips , probably that which you are seeing , ok. nothing to worry about . If it was coolant , it would be coloured not clear water which I assume is showing .

thank Logan. it was confirmed to me that it was water that was leaking from the AC condenser and that this is normal. Phew! For some reason, they coudnt find what was wrong with the noise i heard. it was once off and never came again. even the computer they plugged it into said the car was 100%. so i guess im good for now.
