Re: Rough Idle

Sounds like an ISCV sticking problem.

Re: Rough Idle

sounds like you may need a reflash. I heard there's a new reflash that has just come out which seems to fix most of the idling problems. Check out your Ford dealer.

Hi

I'm having the same problem I think the reason that revs stay high when you press the clutch is heavy flywheel or could be injection thing anyway I'm just waiting for software so I can conect my focus to computer and see what's going on with idle

Re: Rough Idle

Welcome to the forums, Blue Flame! I assume the name comes from the colour of your car?

I'd be interested in knowing what software/hardware you need to be able to do what you're planning to do!

Cheers....... Tim

Had the same problem with my wifes Zetec. But after about 5000 klms it settled down and doesn't do it at all now.

Re: Rough Idle

yeah it is a zetec motor characteristic seemingly. Maybe flywheel or throttle body or something like that. I'm not a huge fan of it either.
