Hello,

I've just bought a new Focus with a 'solar-reflect' windscreen. Is this an 'athermic' windscreen & will I be able to use in-car sat nav (tom-tom etc) ?

If I need an external aerial where do I fit it & is it a DIY job ?

Hi.
As it is fitted with an 'athermic' screen you will need an external aerial.
You can mount it above the rear view mirror in the dotted black area of the windscreen,
or you can fit the aerail in the rear screen area as this is not 'athermic'
In both cases you just have to route the aerial cable so it is out of the way.
