Short block question for 2002 ford focus
I have a 2002 focus with the split port SOHC engine, 112,000 miles. It has no compression in the #4 cylinder. (I know, I know - the valve seat most likely dropped).
QUESTION:
Can I use a short block from a DOHC engine and a rebuilt cylinder head from a SOHC? (I have a spare DOHC from another 2002 that is good and less that 30k miles).
The head has the following code on it: RFYS4E 6090 EA
Any problems with doing this?
Thanks
