Strange throttle and/or fuel injection noise
I've got a strange noise that you can only hear when the windows are open, it occurs when the throttle is only in a certain position (about an inch & a ½ or so from fully out) it sounds like a low pitched mechanical noise which disappears if you change the throttle input (more or less), it doesn’t matter if engine is hot or cold it always does it and you can kind of ‘ride’ the noise by keeping the throttle constant in that position, I though it might be the fuel injectors transitioning from one injector to two perhaps but I think that might have more to do with engine revs rather than throttle position. Any ideas guys??
