eek Supply & Demand - Focus RS

Hows this, Ford Dealers in the UK are selling the Ford Focus RS for up to £23,000 (new and/or slightly used). Thats £3000 up on the RRP of £19,995.

Great stuff if you pre ordered & got it for £19,995

I would put my money on the RS. I just can't see FPV putting in as much development to only sell what, about 75 of them.

I really hope FPV dosn't turn to "rice", by doing up the IMO 'poxy'

If it does, then please don't slap FPV badges on it!

What I'm saying is that demand for the Focus RS is so high & the supply is limited (1500 or 2000 cars for the UK) that dealers are pushing the price up from £19,995 to up to £23,000.

Thats like you walking into your local Ford Dealer to buy a GT & the dealer saying, that because everyone wants one it'll cost you $63k instead of 60k. (not quite the same as the GT is not a limited run)

RIP OFF in other words

From what I've been reading of the RS it would be hard to surpass it, not impossible mind you. The RS badge has alot of history & some awesome vehicles behind it.
