My Mark 2 focus has developed a clicking/knocking noise when the steering is moved quickly from one side to the other. It's much worse at slow speeds and over speed humps etc. Any ideas what that could be?

Sounds like a link pin may be worn out causing the noise. Could albe be upper strut bearings or a broken spring. Springs are covered on an extended recall on Focus.
