Hello I have a 2005 ford focus with 70,000 miles. I have noticed while checking the transmission fluid level that there are tiny air bubbles on the dipstick. The level is at or just below the MAX mark and I am checking the level per the service manual instructions.
I have put about 15,000 miles on it and have had no shifting issues-runs great. I am wondering if this is normal?
Depending on where the dipstick lands in relation to the fluid return, you might be seeing the after affect of the agitation and splashing of the fluid return to the sump. Providing there's clarity, no discoloration or abnormal smell, or slippage, I wouldn't be concerned.
'Scuse me, while I scrape this Honda outta my treads.
