The above link is the link to the car that I modelled my exhaust after (and ended up getting one more feral and sexy). It's the car of the son of our Dealer Principal at my old dealership - weird that it's being sold on Ebay, but I guess he's looking at bigger dollars than trade-in dollars!!!! It has 18's, a chip, air filter, Parramatta Exhaust (yee haa) and the Infocus bodykit, it was originally doneover by Infocus.
Not a bad unit, drives relatively well, could be a little quicker but I never really drove it hard. Just saw it on Ebay and shocked me to bits!!!!! Anyone know an interested buyer looking for a bargain into a cheap car (for what it is it's at a good price!!!!) then I reckon it's worth a look. In pretty good nick (except for the bodykit which seems a bit knocked around) so anyone interested, check it out.
*This is not a personal recomendation to purchase - anyone interested should form their own final opinion and not hold myself accountable in the event of it not working or anything going wrong. Just an informed commentary to aid anyone interested.
Driving a CL Machine Silver 5 Door Manual with (so far) K+N Panel Air filter,
Mongoose Security, 12 Inch Xpolde Sub + Box, 800 watt Monoblock Xplod Amp, Nokia 7250i inbuild carkit, 20% Window tints Dropped 42mm on Peddlers Sports Springs with 18x7.5 LENSO 'Concept Five' rims rolling on 35mm of Falken Rubber. Black Altezza Style rear light
to be honest I dont rate the bodykit on it at all.....but thats my opinion, looks like iot could do with a little bit more of a lowering job too so that it suits the kits and rims...

I guess the 'first to see will buy, option does not apply in this case as there is no 'Buy Now' option on the Auction, at least I could not see one. Unless of course the seller 'pulls' the item off Ebay....though that can tend to upset the Ebay 'Gods'.
Has anyone else noticed the 'over $10,000 of factory fitted options' comment in there?? 'Dealer fitted options' perhaps, however I do not believe Ford offers 'Factory' chips, exhausts etc for the Focus . Just a small (or not so small - eg warranty validity) misrepresentation in the seller's description.

last night when surfing the net for a ford capri (1970 model) I did a search or focus and this car came up, price on carpoint was $26,000 or $26,500....(tell him he's dreaming, rule one on car mods, never expect to get your money back on the mods you do)

Dealers have been known to approve modifications of cars sold as part of the buying process and back them up with warranty, I've had stereo installs and aftermarket wheels all done when buying a new car, and they get done before you take delivery of the car. Sometimes these are done as a demo car for the store as well, Power Ford had CFOCUS I think it was, sold from factory with the Infocus Motorsport bodykit and lowering springs, etc. Not unheard of, but not common, and I'd be checking up on it.
And you're right about not expecting your money back, forget it.
