I have a 2004 ford focus c-max with 110k on the clock, it cut out last week whilst driving at 30mph and would not re-start. I took it to a local garage who (according to their diagnostic machine) said there was a fuel injector pump problem and that the volume pressure valve was dead. So I took the pump to a specialist diesel pump re furbisher and had the valve replaced and tested-it works fine! Then had it fitted back into the car and its still dead, no fuel is getting to the pump, I've checked the internet and notice that this seems to be a very common problem, can you tell me what the probable cure is please somebody, and please forgive me if this is posted wrong.
