Many, many people have wanted to, but there are only a few true RS's in the states for testing

as a new owner of the 1.6lx I find it very comfortable but not so economical(ITS AN AUTO)I have only had it about 9 days I feel it does what it says it does in the brochure apart from the consumption does anyone agree? disagree?

Hi Everybody,
Just joined the forum firstly to ask a question regarding fuel consumption on a new Ford Focus 1.6 auto jus done about 1200 miles from new and is only doing 28 mpg. Is this because it is still too new or is it usual. I expected 34-36 mpg, am I expecting too much? Any opinions welcomed.
