saw your post on Ford XR6 Turbo forums as well...which forum was it originally posted on and who is the source?

I would think if there was going to be legal action it would have been taken by Ford Motor Company not Ford Australia.

Correct me if I am wrong, but SCT have been defining and modifying PTEC and EEC systems for over 12 months. Not to mention all the other commercial 'edit' products for Ford EEC's that have existed for years.

I heard a similar thing today about modifying code.

The analogy used was, taking a operating system, modifying it and re-selling it.

I too hope this is BS....

I agree with strife and FordV8....thats not a real good analogy for this product.

SCT/CAPA are not reselling someone elses engine management system as their own, they are selling a tool for owners of a management system to change it's settings.

And for those who are sick of waiting....get over it. It's available when it is available.

I agree too, this product will be available when it's ready,you have to do your homework, the master's behind Boss edit will let us know soon enough, be patient little grass hopper's.
