Martin turning down a challenge, that is a suprise (no sarcasm intended). I remember one thread a few months back (which was closed) in which martin was super keen to run a LS1 Edit Vs Unichip comparo.
AHH well is suppose thats his choice.

I think we all really need to wait patiently for Capa to release this product. These things take time, the mistake here was releasing as many early details as they did and getting all you kids excited.

Please remember they are bringing a new tuning tool to australia (no experienced tuners), trying to configure it for an engine that fairly little development has taken place (we've only scratched the surface of the boss) and setup a new distrobution network and bring them up to speed.

Honestly it will take time.
Even doing the base tunes could take weeks.

It will come, but all the nagging and complaining is not gunna hurry it up (It was probably a bad marketing decision by Capa/Sct/Martin/Others "in the know" to release details so early).

Well said Fan-TC. The EECV guys here in Australia have been waiting 8 years for a EECV-edit for their cars. Looks like early in the new year we'll finally get support using SCT Advantage. Be patient guys. Good things comes to those who wait.

A "Chip Challenge" was never part of my original request, in trying to keep it fair for the Edit/SCT advantage, give them time to develop tunes for moded cars.

Stock standard cars, dyno and strip, edit them then do the same again.

you cant get any more basic than that, if the dyno sheet on page 13 is for real, a gain of around 45rwkw, (i cant see any better to get it spot on)

http://www.fordforums.com/attachment...26428&viewer=1

should yeald a very impresive result for the SCT/EDIT, if the car in question has the Auto tweaked by the edit at the same time, strip numbers should also be much improved.

No Chip chalenge, too much shit fighting and bitching, Stock cars, flash and run, keep it simple, give us all some hope that the SCT does indeed work.

Agian, I voulenteer my Ute for the purpose of testing, un-flash it when your done if you like, or I will pay to keep it, it is up to you, no one is trying to geta free edit, just some real numbers, real cars, no more BS.

What do you think CAPA.

If you arnt ready, just say so, instead of using excusses or ignoring posts that ask for facts, not fiction.
